‘MPS’ stands for Manuscript Processing System and ‘MPS Account’ indicates a registered account which enables you to submit, edit, or review the articles intended for publication.
Any reference to ‘Submitting Author’ is an author submitting an article intended for publication, whether for himself/herself or on behalf of a group of authors or an institution.
The Information that we collect about you
We collect your information when you register for MPS account on our site, subscribe or fill out a form.
When registering on our site, as a user, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail & mailing address, phone number, and additional information about your academic and work history, references, and any other such similar information like links of social groups (i.e. Face book, Google Scholar, Scopus, Research Gate, and Linked-In, etc) However, you may visit our website anonymously.
We may collect any information contained in any correspondence between us. For example, if you contact us using a “contact” button on the Site or by email or telephone, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
We will also collect certain information about how you use the Site and the device that you use to access the Site. For example, if you choose to register as for an MPS Account, you will be required to provide your Linked-In, Scopus, research gate link, etc. By providing these links, you are authorizing that third-party provider to share information about you.
We may also use third-party providers to verify information provided by you via your MPS Account, including via any articles you submit to us for publication. For example, we may use plagiarism-checking service providers to check the quality of articles and/or any other third-party databases or websites to confirm your publication history.
We may receive information about you from third parties that are referring you to us. For example, if you are the co-author or institutional contact of a Submitting Author, the Submitting Author will be required to provide us with information about you. If you are the referring party, you warrant that you have obtained the necessary consent to share this information with us.
We might also receive information about you from third parties if you have indicated to such a third party that you would like to hear from us.
Use of your information
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To display the profile of Editor and reviewer
(If you register as yourself as Editor/ Reviewer, your all submitted information shall be publically available on reviewer and editor section of the website)
- To personalize your experience
(Your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs and expectations)
- To process transactions
(Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the product or service requested.)
- To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.
- To send periodic emails
(The email address you provide, may be used to send you information and updates, in addition to receiving occasional organization news, updates, related product or service information, etc.)
